I’m not sure how to explain this problem, but I updated to the newest version of the driver to 4.0.1.127. The CL-Eye Test app shows the camera feed properly. Skype 4.1 does not. It shows up as a black box with 2 small camera feed boxes at the bottom. Is there a way to fix this or is it a bug in the new driver?

Attached is a picture of what the camera displays on Skype.

I’m running Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit and the latest version of Skype (4.1).

hi im building a multitouchtable with 4 ps eyes. the problem so far is that after a win7 reboot the cams are not detected anymore by the cl-eye device manager. seems like the driver cannot be loaded. win device manager says:
“Dieses Gerät wurde angehalten, weil es Fehler gemeldet hat. (Code 43)” This device stopped, because it reported an error (code 43)

after repluging the cameras to the usb port, the driver loads and the cams work as expected.
i tried on two different computers, one with win7 32 bit and one with win7 64 bit. same result on both. the problem exists both for the directshow and for the multicam driver…

need this problem fixed, because the table has to run out of the box after boot up…

any help apreciated…

I am having issues with the drivers. The camera will work, then after a reboot, the camera can no longer be activated. I have run out of USB ports to install on to fix the issue, and now it gives the above error when trying to run CL-Eye Test.exe
Uninstalled, reinstalled, no fix now, camera just will not activate.

I was trying to unplug the camera then restart the PC then plug it back in again, to see if I could find a work-around for the loss of the camera after leaving in plugged in on a shut down/restart.

Using the latest drivers, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Service pack 1 , all latest updates.
No other USB devices plugged in.

Hello,

As far as what I had seen from threads dating back to 2008, PS3 Eye Camera was supplied with a driver for Wndows to use it as a webcam.

I downloaded and installed your drivers from this site -where I was forwarded to in those threads- and now I have to “Activate” my camera which is only through purchase.

Am I doing this right ? Can’t I use these drivers for free ?
