Hi Guys,

I´m lost. Since three days Im trying to get this to work but it wont. I have a runnig LabView installation with the IMAQ package installed. I can use other (DirectView based) Webcams without any problem. Tried the newest CL Driver - wouldnt work. Tried the old v3.0.0.0901 which worked, but only for 30 fps at 640x320. As LabView is a big package of software I do not know how to enable 125fps in 320x240 over Direct View. I have absolutely no clue to where to put the cleye.config File. Isn´t there any other way to enable the driver in advanced mode?
I found a clue that it should be working here: http://stisrv13.epfl.ch/masters/img/108.pdf
They even claim to have reached a 180fps using LabView and the PS3 Eye ... anyone know how they did it? Which driver or library they might have used?
Any help would be very much apreciated.

Best regards,
Jabami

Feeling quite stupid here. I am on win 7 x64… Installed the camera and have the .xml file to up the frame rate (using for facetracknoir) which works fine…but I’d like to adjust the gain, etc for lower lighting. How do I do this? On the video tutorial that guy has an app that pops up with sliders to configure, but I can’t find an option anywhere for it.

Is the only way to do this to basically download the sdk and do it through the API? Are there no programs to do basic adjustments, or am I just missing an option somewhere?

Hi guys, I’ve been very impressed with all the hard work, now and when i first joined.

I’m a student studying to be a teacher, I’m i right thinking that i could be eligible for a discount of 50%, if this is the case i would definitely purchase the 16 cam pack, for my future projects.

i could buy other webcams with no driver issue, however I’m ps3 mad and i can’t think of a better way of supporting you guys.

Hello,
I am having some problems downloading the CL-Eye Driver (CL-Eye-Driver-4.0.2.1017.exe)
The problem is, I start to download the file everything’s going okay until a minute or so into downloading then a pop-up shows up and say “Downloading Timed Out” (Or Something Similar. It doesn’t have a download error type or anything, just says that.
I pressed the ‘Show Details option to see what was going wrong and it says the following in order that I put it:

Closing applications…
Uninstalling the previous version of the driver…
Installing Prerequisites..
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 already installed
Downloading CL-Eye driver files…

I have tried everything from deleting every file and re-downloading/installing to using a different web. browser.
I’m currently using a 64-bit Operating System (OS)
With 150GB+ memory space left, I don’t think it takes that much memory for one download.
All of the other downloads like the multiple cam. and Free Driver/SDK file all download perfectly fine with no errors.
I am just trying to use my PSEye for Skype that is all.

Is there anyone that can help, it’ll be greatly appreciated, hope to hear from someone soon.
Thanks for your support.
