i am facing problems with the program
i installed it successfully but when i try to view the cam by the testing its just completely black

the installation stops at Downloading “PS3EyeCamera.inf” and says connecting to host and i click ok then saysinstallation aborted????? whaaat es the problem….....

Using PS3 Eye with CL DirectView Driver and LabView

Hi Guys,

I´m lost. Since three days Im trying to get this to work but it wont. I have a runnig LabView installation with the IMAQ package installed. I can use other (DirectView based) Webcams without any problem. Tried the newest CL Driver - wouldnt work. Tried the old v3.0.0.0901 which worked, but only for 30 fps at 640x320. As LabView is a big package of software I do not know how to enable 125fps in 320x240 over Direct View. I have absolutely no clue to where to put the cleye.config File. Isn´t there any other way to enable the driver in advanced mode?
I found a clue that it should be working here: http://stisrv13.epfl.ch/masters/img/108.pdf
They even claim to have reached a 180fps using LabView and the PS3 Eye ... anyone know how they did it? Which driver or library they might have used?
Any help would be very much apreciated.

Installation problem

when i try to download the CL eye to use my play station eye with my laptop the download only gets half way then says “Download has timed out” and then closes.

I know nothing is wrong with my computer because i downloaded the other one for multiple cams and download went fine but that doesnt help me at all i need the other one -_-

I’m trying to use this driver, but when I run CLNUIDEVICETEST I get a black screen, clearly indicating the driver didn’t install correctly or doesn’t work.
I’ve reinstalled and such, and nothing happened.
I don’t have any other drivers installed, but the camera DEFINITELY works.
I used it with OpenNI.
I can move the motor, but nothing else.

i found your system calculate twice the credits if I activated one camera failed.
take a look at my devices list or the attachment snapshot.

Devices not recognized after windows reboot

Actually iìm using 3 PScameras, ned to extend it to 5, anyway, I builded my own plugin for vvvv, and it works fine, but, when i restart windows, i hae an error in usb port, devices cannot being recognized, if i unplug and plug again cameras, sometimes it works.
I tries also precompiled sample for multicamera, using the DLL that enables more then 2 ps devices, same result, when i restart i cant use ps cameras…how can i solve this ? does anybody had the same issue, using more then 2 cameras ?
