hiii everyone

i am facing problems with the program
i installed it successfully but when i try to view the cam by the testing its just completely black

i am using windows 7 64 BIT

when i try to download the CL eye to use my play station eye with my laptop the download only gets half way then says “Download has timed out” and then closes.

I know nothing is wrong with my computer because i downloaded the other one for multiple cams and download went fine but that doesnt help me at all i need the other one -_-

I’m trying to use this driver, but when I run CLNUIDEVICETEST I get a black screen, clearly indicating the driver didn’t install correctly or doesn’t work.
I’ve reinstalled and such, and nothing happened.
I don’t have any other drivers installed, but the camera DEFINITELY works.
I used it with OpenNI.
I can move the motor, but nothing else.

PS3 Eye Mic

I am having trouble with the Mic gain Level on Levels tab of Microphone USB Camera-B4.04.27.1 Properies sheet are locked on +6.0 db

I am running win 7 with the latest CL drivers. The mic dose work it is just verry quiet and the volume slider is stuck at the lowest setting.

Windows XP X86 Problem with CL-Eye-Platform-SDK-1.0.0.1229

Hi Alex,

I am really excited about the release of your new SDK at Code Laboratories, this will mean so much to many people.

I have installed both the new CL-Eye-Driver-4.0.0.1223 and CL-Eye-Platform-SDK-1.0.0.1229 on the Latest version of Windows 7 x86. I am happy to report that both the CLEye Test and the CLEyeMulticamTest work perfectly without any problems.

However when I try install on Windows XP x86 the CLEye Test program works, but the CLEyeMulticamTest programs will not work. I keep getting the error “The procedure entry point GetThreadId could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll”.
Attached is a screenshot of the error.

I am no expert in programming and I was trying to locate some information on the problem before contacting you….I noticed at the Windows Dev Center that the “GetThreadId” function was only supported by Windows Vista and Higher. Here is the link:

I am not sure exactly if this has anything to do with the problem ( maybe it is my XP Setup) but I thought it might help you in some way. I have tried Installation on 2 fully updated Windows XP X86 machines with no success.

PS Eye video not being displayed

Hello, I’m hoping someone can help me with this. I’ve downloaded the CL Eye Platform Driver and installed it. The problem is I when I run the CL-Eye Test it doesn’t display the camera’s video feed or run it’;s audio feed. The software detects the camera fine, but won’t display anything. I’ve also done the obvious by unplugging the camera, closing the program and then plugging the camera back in and restarting. Outside of the more simple stuff I don’t really know to much, so if I’m honest I’ll probably need a step by step walkthrough of how to combat this problem. Any help would be great. Thank you.

after the program ran successfully , the capturing doesn’t seem to agree with it
it capture a black window and may be after time display some distortion of the image , although the .exe files in the Bin folder works
very well

I’m very confused whether the .h file give this impact or how to solve the problem

Ps eye is not working the microphone

Hi,
I tried to install the ps eye several times on my PC, I have Windows 7 (32).
Eye Test with CL-vied works but no sound.
From the control panel are two PS I eye, one installed and the other not

I have installed all Windows Updates as suggested in another topic but the result remains the same.
I apologize for my bad English, I am using a translator.

help me, please ... ...........

Possible Reason’s for PS3Eye Not Installing and/or Working Properly.

I hope this is the right area to post this… sorry if it isn’t…

This may only be for WinXP OS User’s.

I have been getting emails of people not being able to install the PS3Eye correctly nor working, and then noticed most people don’t have these installed and they seemed to have worked for the few i helped.

here are the programs you may need to install…

Windows Updates Downloaded and Installed.
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 2
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
(if you’d want to as well, you can also get “Microsoft .NET Framework 4.”)

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010

it’s seems like any thing to do with the PS3 stuff is needing and/or wanting those installed, like when trying to make you’re own PS3 or even PSP theme it want’s a couple of those installed. i have noticed that these are actually pretty important for some programs and what not to work and perform better or properly.

make sure that you’re hardware driver’s are installed because that can cause problems as well.

another thing I’ve stood by is CCleaner which you can download below.

make sure to run the registry cleaner because having a lot of registry problems and/or un-used entries can even cause the BSOD(Blue Screen Of Death).

Once you get some of this done, try installing the CLEye again and hopefully it should work.

EDIT:
Make Sure to do the Windows Updates Before and/or AFTER you’ve installed some of the things i mentioned. Reason being, after installing these you may need to update them and the Windows Update will find them

Weird picture problem

Hi. I’ve been using the latest camera driver for some time now, and mostly it works great.

I use it in 640x480 @ 30fps on an EEE PC 901 dedicated to only doing that - transmitting what the camera sees (for monitoring a baby).

However, there’s a glitch that happens every now and again (shows up at random times and disappears after seemingly a random period of time).

I’m 100% sure it’s the PS3 eye driver causing this, because:

a) it doesn’t happen with the integrated webcam
b) it happens under different software that uses the camera (including the driver’s own cam test tool)

So yea, after seemingly a random period of time (say 15 minutes), the picture shifts to the left, and the part that shifted to the left appears on the right, but in black and white. It stays like that for like 2-3 minutes (sometimes only a few seconds) and it normalizes.

I’m attaching a screenshot when working properly and one when glitched.

I tried reinstalling the driver multiple times, installing an older version (3.x something) but nothing seems to help ...

Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks
