I am running windows 7 x64
My problem is that the slider to boost the microphone gain on my ps3eye is set to 0 and is grayed out and wont move. I have Realtek HD Audio , but this shouldn’t be a problem. All I want to do is boost the gain :( Can anyone offer any pointers?

I have exact same setup, I use the camera for conferencing etc. But no audio is detected in Windows 7 mixer and when i affect the recording level in the properties of the recording devices, it’s frozen at 0.0 db.

Windows 7 x64
USB Camera-B4.04.27.1
PSEye Camera 4.0.1.501
Realtek HD Audio

Any help appreciated?

Okay, so I just reinstalled everything (not the first time) and now it’s capturing audio, but I still cannot affect the gain in the Windows options.
